May 15, 2021 Version 2.5.1
Hello there! This is a small update to fix a crash when opening a document with an alternate ending notation.
Previously on version 2.5:
This update primarily brings compatibility with iOS 14.
It also contains a major reworking of Tabular's MIDI sequencer. For now, this just means that playback should be more reliable and much more performant for large scores, but it also opens the door for further expanding playback functionality in the future.
Lastly, several crashes and UI glitches have been resolved as well.
Stay healthy and safe, and as always, feel free to reach out through our support page or on Twitter with any feedback, questions, or suggestions!

28 Jul 2020 Version 2.4
Hi! This version contains two exciting enhancements: support for multiple windows and improvements to trackpad and mouse input.
New workflows are possible with multiple window support. You can edit two related documents side by side in split view, or open Tabular alongside another app like Safari to make transcribing a tab much easier.
The new iPadOS adaptive cursor now works great in Tabular. When using a trackpad or mouse, the cursor will adapt to the score underneath it, making it much easier to make precise selections on specific tab lines. You can also drag out a selection the way you would expect to when using a pointing device. Lastly, other UI elements like buttons also now respond to the cursor nicely.
This version also has a few bug fixes and other small improvements:
• Fixed an issue with button responsiveness when configuring an instrument's tuning.
• Fixed a bug that would apply your default track preset when editing an existing track.
• Improved mixing of different instrument sounds. In particular, this helps dead notes to be audible when played alongside other notes.
• Fixed an issue preventing the library from updating properly after editing a document's title, artist, or album.
• Fixed an issue with grace notes not saving and loading properly.

This month's update adds support for importing files from inside the app. Tapping the Import button in the library will now provide an option to select new files to import to your library. Some error messaging has also been improved to be more helpful.
Otherwise this is a pretty light update, containing mostly internal improvements in preparation for bigger things in the future.

1 Mar 2020 Version 2.1
Your March update is here with a mix of new features and bug fixes!
• Added dark mode support.
• Added a new lyrics notation, which allows you to add multiple lines of lyrics under a measure.
• Documents can now be shared in MIDI and plain text formats in addition to Tabular or PDF format.
• Fixed several issues with MIDI processing that were causing incorrect playback.
• The instrument view can now be hidden.
• Shortcuts for preconfigured legato and picking technique notations can now overwrite each other when they're different. For example, pressing D to add a down strum, then U for an up strum used to remove the strum. Now pressing U will replace the down strum with an up strum.
• Fixed a bug causing the instrument details to overlap the tempo when printing.
• Fixed an issue preventing chord charts from updating properly when changed.
I'd love to hear what you think. Feel free to reach out through our support page or on Twitter with any feedback or suggestions. See ya next time!
